The bridge has worn over time compromising communities safety and health.

Construction begun with piling works, sealing concrete decks and vegetation control around the bridge and works are 95 percent complete. The bridge’s destruction has severely impacted the community, limiting access to market, schools, healthcare, and basic necessities, and compromising livelihoods and safety, particularly during emergencies.
